This wall piece was part of a 2008 solo show held at GSL Gallery in New Orleans, LA. It consisted of almost 2,000 small plastic bags filled with water that was collected from the Mississippi River near a point where one of the levees was breached during Hurricane Katrina. This work was replicated in several other parts of the country, always with locally collected water.
